Derbyshire is home to serveral stately mansions, all of which are within easy reach of the Manifold Inn. The images below include Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Keddleston Hall and Hardwick Hall.
With Alton Towers, Gillivers Kingdom and the Heights of Abraham, Derbyshire has plenty to offer for children, thrill seekers and the more gentle individuals alike.
The Manifold Inn is situated in the middle of the Peak National Park, close to some of the best walking in the whole of England. The Manifold Trail starts only yards from the Inn and runs to Waterhouses via Ecton, famous for its tin mines. The River Dove, which is within a mile of the inn, passes through many memorable dales including Milldale, Lathkilldale and Dovedale. The Tissington Trail which runs from Ashbourne to Buxton is within 3 miles. Both the Manifold Trail and the Tissington Trail are suitable for cyclists and we are happy to arrange hire.
