We are a cosy, traditional free-house inn nestled in the Manifold Valley. We are surrounded by stunning views as well as plenty of walks and cycling routes making us the perfect spot to come and relax after a day exploring the Peak District. We offer a variety of rooms, all of which have our traditional english breakfast included. Whether you’re a local, visiting the area for the day, or booking a countryside holiday, we can’t wait to see you.
Eat
Our kitchen team pride themselves on their ever-changing menu that represents the season, using fresh, local ingredients. We are open from Breakfast to Dinner and have a selection of areas in which to enjoy our food. We have our restaurant area, our main bar area and our conservatory which all have their own distinct personalities, so there is something for everyone.

Our 12 rooms are the perfect place to relax and put your feet up after a day exploring the Peak District. From our family rooms in the Inn, to our range of king, double and dog-friendly rooms in the converted Barns to our 2 bedroom cottage, we have no doubt that you will feel at home during your stay with us.

Our guests are able to enjoy the benefits of our beautiful and secluded countryside location whilst also being a short drive from market and spa towns such as Ashbourne and Buxton.
